Description
Sources Sought Synopsis Material Processing System Service Contract 1. This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements in order to successfully be considered and compete for the chance to be awarded the contract to provide technical resolutions for improving operational performance for the Material Processing System (MPS/D230) at OO-ALC, OC-ALC, WR-ALC, and KADENA. Due to the high degree of expertise and technicality required for these services, a successful offer must be able to provide personnel with a minimum of 4 years experience per individual as a requirement. 2. Below is a description of Material Processing System Services requirements and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company's capability. 3. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) 4. Questions relative to this market survey should be addressed to Benjamin White (801)777-4753 REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION Material Processing System Service Contract PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION The contractor shall provide contract personnel to provide total sustainment support, technical support, knowledge management data capture support, data communications, command support, to 75 ABW/SCP. The primary purpose is to support and enhance the functional capabilities of project taskings, support and improve operations, maintenance, administrative activities including portfolio management, and performance of MPS/D230. The contractor shall provide total development, implementation, maintenance and continuous sustainment of each system process. This effort is a follow-on to development work already accomplished in previous phases of the systems capabilities that are operating at OO-ALC, KADENA, OC-ALC, and WR-ALC. Since this system has been deployed to the ALC's, additional developments have been requested by customers. CONTRACTOR CAPABILITY SURVEY Part I. Does your company possess a functional/operational knowledge of the Zip Tube material delivery system in and its operational phases with MPS/D230. 3. Does your company possess a functional knowledge of the F-35 gateway support agreement between Lockheed Martin as it applies to MPS/D230 that is currently in process. 4. Has your company provided government contractual services as it applies to MPS/D230 previously? Please provide responses to the questions above in order for the acquisition team to determine which contractors can sufficiently provide the required services for this contract.
