- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) intends to award a single-source contract to Data Management Services Joint Venture (DMSJV) for Instructional Support Services. The award will facilitate Instructional Services in support of FAA Management, Executive, and Leadership Training for the period April 1, through Sept. 30, 2013. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. The rational basis is defined by the important and timely action necessary to support strategic objectives associated with FAA Office of Human Resources, Management and Leadership Development. The proposed NAICS code for this acquisition is 611710 Educational Support. DMS International (DUNS 933922171) is a certified 8a Small Business/SEDB operating in Joint Venture with American Systems Corporation (ASC). This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation or Request for Proposal. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
