- MSO SURVEY MAP Pre-solicitation Notice: AG-8379-S-13-0004 To: Prospective Bidders Location of Project: Santa Fe National Forest, Jemez, Cuba & Espanola Ranger Districts, Sandoval & Rio Arriba Counties, New Mexico Project Title: Mexican Spotted Owl Territory Monitoring 2013 - Jemez RD Project Description: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, transportation, equipment and materials (except for Government furnished property) needed to conduct formal surveying of Mexican Spotted Owl (MSO) habitat in the Jemez Mountains of northern New Mexico. Some of the areas to be surveyed have been historically occupied by MSO. All surveying will be done according to established protocol to determine presence/absence and reproductive success. The contractor shall submit completed forms, maps, digital images and a final report of all findings. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF MSO TERRITORIES Survey locations vary across the west side of the forest that includes Jemez, Cuba, and Espanola Ranger Districts. (see map). Contract Time: 120 days + optional survey period (subject to funding availability) Issue Date: January, 2013
