Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. VISN 4 has a requirement to provide bread and bakery products for eight (8) VA Medical Centers located throughout Pennsylvania, one (1) facility in Delaware, and one (1) facility in West Virginia, for a total of ten (10) facilities. The contract period will begin on April 1, 2013, through March 30, 2014, with two (2) one-year option years, all subject to the availability of funds. The electronic solicitation will be available for download from the Federal Business Opportunities website on January 17, 2013. Electronic or facsimile offers will not be accepted. Quotations will be due to the Contracting Officer February 15, 2013, and must be mailed to the Contracting Officer at the following address: Annette Lang Coatesville VA Medical Center (542/90C) 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road Coatesville, PA 19320. The North American Industry Code (NAICS) is 311812, and the applicable small business size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is planned as unrestricted, utilizing cascading set-aside award procedures.
