Description

The Fargo VA Healthcare System anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Caremark, L.L.C. for the procurement of Xenazine (Tetrabenazine) deliverable F.O.B. Destination to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 2101 Elm Street, Fargo ND 58102. This medication is used for the treatment of chorea associated with Huntington's disease. This medication is part of the FDA's Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategy (REMS). NAICS code # 445110 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is on or before January 23, 2013.
