Description

This is sources sought announcement only! This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as 8(a), HubZone, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran-owned business, and small business relative to NAICS 622210, size standard $13.5M. Responses will be used to determine appropriated acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, William Jennings Bryan Dorn (WJBD) VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Neurosurgery Services at the contractor's location to patients referred by the WJBD VA Medical Center. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to provide Neurosurgery services for patients requiring one-to-one, 24 hour care, and seven days a week. The intended contract is anticipated as one base year, with four (4) option years. Responses to this sought must include: 1. Point of contact, 2. Company Name. 3. Address, 4. Telephone & Fax numbers, 5. Email address, and 6. Type of business such as HubZone, 8(a) small business, service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, etc. Responses shall be emailed to the attention of Clifton Weldon at: Clifton.weldon2@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 3:00pm EST, January 30, 2013. No solicitation is available at this time; this is to acquire information only. Responses to this request shall not be considered a request to be added to any mailing list or to receive a copy of a solicitation. Vendors interested in providing an offer will have to respond to a separated solicitation announcement that shall be published separately.
