- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY, anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Requirements Contract for Airfield Concrete to include Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield (WSAAF),for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at Fort Drum, NY. Place of Performance: All construction of new and demolition/repair and/or replacement of existing concrete structures for the airfield will be performed at Fort Drum, NY 13602. General Information:The Government intends to award a single Contract for construction of new and demolition/repair and/or replacement of existing concrete structures for the airfield in support of the DPW located in Fort Drum, NY. This requirement is 100% restricted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. All other offerors are ineligible to provide proposals. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, appliances and supervision necessary to perform all operations in connection with the construction of new and demolition/repair and/or replacement of existing concrete structures within WSAAF, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The anticipated basic ordering period is April 2013 through March 2014 with Base plus Two (2) One-Year Option Periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237310, Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, with a size standard of $33.5 Million. The Government anticipates the total estimated cost of this Requirements Contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 for the base ordering period and each exercised optional ordering period. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15-30 Days after publication of this notice. Site Visit Information: The IFB will include site-visit information, to include date, time, and location. Upon release to the public, the IFB as well as amendments will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation. The IFB will specify the actual date and time for proposal receipt.
