Description

Remove existing grass from Quad Ball Fields 2 & 3 (Constitution Field) and replace with field monofilament turf. The work includes furnishing all design, labor, transportation, supervision, material, equipment and performing all operations in connection with the following: repair existing surface (approximately 144,992 square feet, 368 x 394 lineal feet), design new and replace existing drainage system, replace soil, remove and restore bleacher, remove and replace bleacher concrete pad, remove and replace dugouts, remove and replace chain-link fence and backstops, provide and retaining walls, add additional gate, including all inland markings for playing fields as stated in the scope of work and other incidental related work. This action is restricted to firms identified on the select bidders list. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experience information, and a price (or cost) proposal for evaluation by the Government. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238990 and the annual size standard is $14,000,000. The estimated cost: $1,000,000 to $2,000,000. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond of 20% of the amount for Davis Bacon Act (DBA) work. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. The work to be done by the Designer/Builder will include all design and engineering work required to obtain approval and certification from the Navy, NAVFAC-MW, Great Lakes, Illinois. All drawings and calculations will be prepared by the Designer/Builder.
