- TITLE: Procurement for Lease of four Double Wide Classroom Trailer, in support of the 120th Infantry Brigade, Fort Hood, TX. Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Hood, TX intends to award a firm fixed price sole-source purchase order to Rockwell American Services, a small business, for the of Lease of four Double Wide Classroom Trailer. The 120th Infantry Brigade, Fort Hood has a requirement for mobile office space in support of deploying units at Division West Headquarters and its subordinate commands to provide labor to transport, setup, and maintenance, electrical power and tear-down for approximately 220 personnel at North Fort Hood, Texas 76528. The Government intends to enter into a firm fixed price requirements with Rockwell American Service. Period of performance is 2 February 2013 through 30 April 2013. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) Soliciting from a Single Source. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 332311 - Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing a size standard of $500. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued. Initiating a separate competitive action for a 3-month bridge contract would not outweigh the benefits to the Government. Time does not permit a phase-in period, therefore, there is not a reasonable expectation a new contractor will successfully perform without critical delay and/ or interruption of services.
