Description

A UNRESTICTED solicitation will be issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division (SWD), Fort Worth District (SWF) for Overhead Crane Maintenance Services at Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 5 February 2013. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and a business size standard of $7 million. The scope of the contract will include, but is not limited to; the Contractor shall provide personnel, management, and any other items and services, not Government furnished, necessary to perform the Overhead Crane Maintenance Services, Fort Hood, Texas. Services required shall include, but is not limited to; Preventive Maintenance Work, Service Call, Repair Work, Load Testing Work, Work Control & Documentation, and Contractor Manpower Reporting. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. The Period of Performance will be 1 year for the Base period and 1 year for each with four optional periods. The estimated magnitude for each period is between $500,000 - $1,000,000.
