- The AFTC Installation Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for 2 High Power Multi-Band Laser Systems. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), through FAC 2005-62, 20 December 2012, Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), the announcement number is F1T0EB2361AG01. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This will be a total small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This will be evaluated on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. Requirement - QTY DESCRIPTION 2 High Power Multi-Band Laser System with the following specifications Laser System Requirements _______________________________________ Parameter Requirement Wavelength 1 2.1 ± 0.1 µm Output Power 1 3.0 W, true CW operation Wavelength 2 enter wavelength between 4.05 µm and 4.15 µm with >98% of power below 4.18 µm Output Power 2 2.0 W, true CW operation Individual beam diameters ~4mm, within 10% of each other Individual beam outputs Circularized with M2<1.5 Each beam must have a circular spot with vertical and horizontal beam diameter ratios within 10% of each other at a distance of 1.5m from laser output. Individual beam divergence <3mrad (each laser) Relative beam divergences Within 0.5mrad of each other Collinearity of beams Within 0.5mrad Robustness Capable of withstanding a multiple G test environment Modulation of Output 1 5kHz Modulation of Output 1 100kHz Control Laser power supply and 40 ft. control cable Analog input Analog input attenuation voltages (0-5V) resulting in 10% to 100% power output from each laser.
