Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a Sole Source contract with Alcon Laboratories, Inc., to supply a LenSx Laser system for facilities in VISN 12 (VA Milwaukee, WI, VA Hines, Hines, IL, VA Jesse Brown, Chicago, IL and VA Madison, WI.) The Alcon LenSx Laser system has the only FDA approval for lens fragmentation, Capsulorhexis and Wound Construction. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No other Supply with Satisfy. Contract is a firm fixed price and F.O.B. Destination. Any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give notification to the Contracting Officer by close of business January 23, 2013, 4:00 pm CST. Supporting evidence (i.e. capability statement) must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
