FAA Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) Industry Day / Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 09:00 to 12:00 Purpose In an effort to promote open communications with Industry and gather information regarding the FAA ™s interest in obtaining subjects for the Office of Aerospace Medicine, Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI), Aerospace Medical Research Division, Aeromedical Protection and Survival Research Lab, AAM-630, the Government will be holding an Industry day in support of the attached Draft Statement of Work dated September 25, 2012 to validate a modeling analysis study for a Rapid Decompression Scenario. Interested companies MUST attend Industry Day to be considered for contract award. Location Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center CAMI Auditorium “ Room B-53 located in the basement of the CAMI Building. 6500 S. MacArthur Blvd Oklahoma City, OK 73169 Note: Attendees will need to stop at the Visitor ™s Center and get a Visitor ™s Pass. Registration Instructions and Personnel Limitations Each company or organization is limited to no more than 3 attendees due to space limitations. Each company will also have an opportunity to schedule a capabilities presentation with the Subject Matter Experts for later that afternoon or on the February 14, 2013. Appointments will be made on a first come-first serve basis. The following information must be emailed to the POC identified below on or before February 8, 2013 to be added to the attendee list. Name Position/Title Name of company or organization they represent If your company is interested in scheduling a capabilities presentation Travel is not reimbursed by the Government for the Industry Day. Security and Check-In Information Visitors must stop at the Visitors Center and check in with security. A valid U.S. citizen ™s picture identification such as a driver ™s license is required. Overview The purpose of CAMI ™s Aerospace Medical Certification Division is to ensure that the United States ™ pilot populations and the general public are safe from aircraft accidents that could be the result of pilot medical problems. The FAA requires pilots to have a valid medical certificate as mandated by 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 67 “ Medical Standards and Certification.
