- Description
- The purpose of this solicitation is to procure trash removal and solid waste disposal/recycling services for GSA and its client agencies. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for trash removal and solid waste disposal/recycling services at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center, Battle Creek, MI. The contractor will determine the proper work methods to accomplish assignments concerned with the removal of trash and separation to the maximum extent possible all office and building waste that is recyclable. This project is set-aside for small business. NAICS is 562111 and the size standard is $12.5 million. The term of the contract is one (1) year with four (4), one (1) year options. The anticipated start date is June 1, 2013. CORRECTION: PROPOSAL EVALUATION Proposals will be evaluated on price and past performance. Past performance is significantly more important than price. As proposals become more equal in terms of past performance, the total evaluated price becomes more important. A pre-proposal site visit has been scheduled for January 10, 2013 at 10:00 am. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 7, 2013; the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download through the FedBizOpps website ( www.fbo.gov ). All interested vendors must register with FedBizOpps and registration requires the following information be provided: 1) System for Award Management (SAM) registration at www.sam.gov ; 2) a valid DUNS number. Please monitor FedBizOpps for amendments and/or additional information. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.
