- SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Erie VA Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504, is seeking to obtain information on health-monitoring kiosks. This is not a request for competitive quotes. It is a notice to obtain possible sources that have the capacity and capability of providing health-monitoring kiosks. Several characteristics are listed below. If your company can provide a health-monitoring kiosk that meets these characteristics, please submit the following information to Jennifer Balsiger, Contracting Officer, at Jennifer.balsiger2@va.gov, no later than January 30, 2013 at 3:00 PM EST. Information to Submit "GSA Schedule, if applicable "Socioeconomic status of your company "List of federal contracts held by your company "Confirmation that your company is listed in SAM "Product brochures and other publically-available information on the product Salient Characteristics "Automated blood pressure "Automatic weight - specify if there is an option for w/c patients versus non w/c patients (sitting weight or standing weight as not all of our patients can stand) "Education materials or interface with any education materials that we have at the facility "Does it interface with CPRS, which is currently used at the Medical Center "Does it interface and update information in MyHealtheVet "Blood oxygen levels "Heart rate "Bilingual or other languages "Blind or sight-impaired have the ability to get information privately "Can it ask patients pre-appointment questions like smoking, etc. "Capability to print information "Interface with the patient VIC card to bring up the patient information or link the health information obtained to the correct patient "How privacy is ensured "How infection control (between patients) is ensured "Does the equipment size the print/font/display in different sizes controlled by the user if they need a larger font "Does the product meet ADA standards "Can the information be printed both at the station and queued to print to the health teams "Is the product in use at other VA's; if so, which ones "Do you offer other options in addition to blood pressure, weight, blood oxygen, and heart rate
