- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Tammy Bingham, Contracting Officer, email: tammy.bingham@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX3Q0206AX; NOUN: Pin, Expanding Grip; NSN: 5340-01-333-2043; P/N406-310-103-103; min/max 180/540 each on a three year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type buy type contract applicable to OH-58D Army Helicopter Improvement Program (AHIP) with deliveries to Tracy, CA. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 180 each, 318 Days After Contract Award (DACA) 180 each year until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 138 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 180 each 150 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 180 each year until contract completion. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This requirement is restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. (CAGE: 97499) Bell has declined to participate; and Shur-Lok Company (CAGE: 97393) because this part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor used of a second source part in the intended application. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
