The Agency will allow 100 industry participants in person and unlimited participants via Defense Connect Online (DCO). Each selected company will be allowed no more than two (2) participants to attend the event. Selection for attendance will be for one-year. This includes all consortium events within the year (both the June 2013 and November 2013 Forum/Consortium). 1.1 OVERVIEW This event is solely for the exchange of information and knowledge. The speakers in the event will benefit from government exchange with the Defense Department as a whole; however presentation at the event does not provide speakers with any competitive advantage or preferential treatment in future acquisitions related to or resulting from the event. Day One and Two will consist of industry and government speakers discussing existing DoD problems within the Service Design domain (e.g., Engineering, Service Level Management, Research and Development, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Information Security Management, IT Service Continuity Management, and Design Coordination). The ESMF Forum will: • Bring together government and process improvement professionals to detail the work that's currently being done throughout the DoD and industry regarding ITSM. • Highlight industry ITSM implementation best practices and lessons learned. • Expand the ITSM Community of Practice The event is held biannually at Fort Meade, MD on the DISA campus and will also be available via Defense Connect Online (DCO) and video teleconferencing. Government attendees include but are not limited to DISA, each military department, each combatant command, and military agencies. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS 2.1 Participant Experience (limit to two pages) Participants are asked to provide a submission that summarizes their experience with ITSM, ITIL, eTOM or other Business Process Management as applied to computing, IT, Telecommunications and Cloud Computing.
