Description
The Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit for contractor support to assist in the removal and replacement of the Compressor Discharge Pressure (CDP) seals in accordance with General Electric Repair Instruction (GE REI) TF34-3110. All supplies and materials required to perform the work shall be supplied by the contractor as required by the NAVAIR, Fleet Readiness Center (FRCSE) Jacksonville, Florida. This support will include providing RFI CDP seals by inspecting, cleaning, replacing the honeycomb seals, and associated machining to return the part to limits as specified in NAVAIR 02B-105ALB-6-2.2/T.O. 2J-TF34-3-2, WP 355 03, GE REI TF34-3110, and GE Drawing 6037T40 or GE Drawing 5023T74. These documents provide the specifications required to accomplish the repair tasks. The contractor shall ensure that component identification is maintained during the repair process. The Governments anticipates a single award, firm fixed price requirements type contract with delivery order provisions. It will include a one year base period and four, one-year option periods. This requirement is a total small business set aside and identified under NAICS Code 336412 with the size standard of 1000 employees. The complete SOW will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about 28 Jan 2013 and will close 30 days thereafter. The RFP will be made available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fedbizopps.gov) and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (www.neco.navy.mil) web sites. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of these documents will be issued. Offerors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award.
