- PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. No partial quotes will be considered. No partial awards will be made. The Request for Quote number is RFQ0733132876 and is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS Code for this requirement is The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423490 - Other Professional Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers; the size standard is 750 employees. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation requires the following items, Brand Name Only, to the following: Line 001, DNA 1000 Chip Kit, Agilent Tech 5067-1504, 35, EA; Line 002, DNA 7500 Complete Kit, Agilent Tech 5067-1506, 35, EA; Line 003, Test Chip Bundle, Agilent Tech G2938-68300, 20, EA; Technical Specifications: • Reagents and chips that quantify 50-500 base pairs mtDNA; • Compatible with Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and 2100 Expert Software Rev.B.02.03; • Accurate and reproducible quantification and sizing results; • Sizing resolution must be no more than ±5%; • Sizing accuracy must be no more than ±10%; • Quantitation accuracy must be no more than ±20%; • Concurrently analyze eight or more samples in addition to sizing ladder; • Detect a nucleic acid concentration range of at least 0.1-50 ng/µ • Requires no more than 1 µ of sample for nucleic acid analysis; • Requires no more than 10 minutes preparation time per chip; • Disposable, chip-base technology to eliminate sample cross-contamination; • Minimal exposure to hazardous chemicals; ***SPECIAL NOTICE*** The FBI is under a Continuing Resolution (CR), the resulting contract will be incrementally funding. FOB Destination: FBI Laboratory, 2501 Investigation Parkway, Quantico, VA 22135. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage under a normal commercial warranty. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Governments rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of all items provided to the government by the Contractor.
