- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The work in the maintenance building consists of the removal and replacement of the three existing natural gas-fired ceiling-mounted unit heaters located in the carpenter shop, the main garage bay and the garage addition of the maintenance building. The Contractor shall remove and replace the existing heaters and replace them with new units. New digital programmable thermostats shall be provided with new heating equipment. This work shall include: all necessary work to complete the installation of the new units; all piping, venting, ductwork, wiring and all equipment necessary to adapt the equipment to the new system; and all other incidental work necessary to complete the installation of the system. The contractor shall provide all equipment and materials necessary to complete the work as shown and as specified. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be unused and meet the requirements of the specifications.
