Description

The VA Network 22 Logistic Office intends to enter into sole source procurement with Harvard College President & Fellow OF Harvard University. This proposed contract action is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect. The request for Quotation is VA262-13-Q-0382. This procurement is for The VA Geriatric Scholars Program which is funded by a grant from the VA Office of Rural Health, is a workforce development program to improve healthcare for older Veterans. The programs operates as a collaborative effort of the VA Office of Geriatrics and Extended Care and nine VA Geriatric Research Education Clinical Center (GRECCs) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely by the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. Notice will be posted January 25th- January 29, 2013. Inquires will only be accepted by email at marie.irvin@va.gov.
