Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Veterans Administration Medical Center Richmond, is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources to provide an automated instrument for procalcitonin testing on a cost per test basis for two years (base year plus on option year) in the Salem, Virginia and Beckley, West Virginia VA Medical Centers. A. General Requirements Vendor will provide a lab instrument capable of automated testing of procalcitonin at the Salem and Beckley VAMCs. B. Maintenance Vendor shall provide all necessary equipment and maintenance reagents/test kits on a cost per test basis as appropriate through the contract period. C. Period of Performance-Coverage Period: Base year- 2/28/2013-2/27/2014 (estimated start date) D. Option Years This contract could include base year (FY 13) plus one option year through FY 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339113, Size Standard: 500 Employees and the Classification code is 6560. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size, and any other pertinent information that demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
