- Description
- Detailed Description of Items: CLIN 0001: The new calibrators for Regions 4, 8 and 10 must meet the following specifications: ?Provide programmable microprocessor control of continuous, real-time dilution of up to 4 external compressed gas cylinder sources of CO, SO2 and NO or NO2 with externally provided, pressurized Zero air; ?Provide the largest dilution and zero air capacity possible, as a part of the equipment overall design; this is currently 30 SLPM; and the smallest capacity (10 cc/min) for the blended pollutant gas; plus 100cc/min for regular range audit gas concentrations. ?Provide for mixing and reaction of the NO with internally-generated ozone to dynamically produce NO2 according to EPA requirements for Gas Phase Titration (GPT); ?NIST-traceable accuracy of concentration and flow, and repeatability from 10-100% of full scale, of +/- 1.0%; ?Non-reactive flow path surfaces (for example, teflon tubing, stainless steel mass flow controllers, Viton seals); ?Maximum weight of 40 lbs; ?Provide ozone generator which has built-in temperature-control, pressure compensation, and includes a precision optical feedback circuit to compensate for lamp aging; ?Ozone Generator Concentration Range of 0.5-1.25 ppm at 10 slpm, accuracy of +/-2.0% or +/- 0.005 ppm at 10 slpm, and 30 day repeatability of +/-2% or +/-0.005 ppm; ?Comes with rack mount feature; ?Contains an internal, adjustable ozone generator that provides 1 to 20 L/minute flow rates; ?Mass Flow Controller warm-up time of 30 minutes, response time of 30 seconds to +/-2.0% of set point ?RS-232 Serial Data Interface CLIN 0002: The new calibrator for the alternate test method that will be tested by Region 2 must meet the following specifications: ?All flows going through the mass flow controllers (MFCs) prior to any ozone generation; ?When configured with three MFCs, can have any output assigned to each of the flow controllers in question. ?The serial outputs can be polled and the flow controller readings can be data logged. ?One (1) 20 SLPM dilution gas mass flow controller ?One (1) 100 SCCM span gas mass flow controller ?One additional 10 SCCM circuit with: Mass flow controller, solenoids, control electronics & tubing ?Mass Flow Controller warm-up time of 30 minutes, response time of 30 seconds to +/-2.0% of set point ?Loop plumbing on output of MFC?s. ?One (1) Dilution Gas Inlet Port ?Four (4) Span Gas Inlet Ports ?Ozone Generation Module, reaction chamber and electronics for ozone calibration and gas phase titration ?Provide ozone generator which has built-in temperature-control, pressure compensation, and includes a precision optical feedback circuit to compensate for lamp aging; ?RS-232 Serial Data Interface (Terminal/Printer Computer/Modem) ?I/O control (8 inputs / 8 outputs) programmable through software ?Portable configuration ?All Teflon tubing ?Rack mountable case
