- The WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNNMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on Behalf of the MAIN OPERATING ROOM will award a sole source procurement to BIOMET, INC for medical supplies Disposable Coring Trephine, W/4 Ext Spikes, Toggleloc/Washerloc Disp Kit, Standard Ezloc Fem Fixa, No-profile Tissue Washer, 50mm 6mm Cancellous Screw, 46mm 6mm Cancellous Screw, Echo por FMRL NC 9x125, Dia Cocr Mod HD+3mm NK, Ringloc Bipolar, Porous IM Stem 14.5x225, Mod Arthro NL 3cm Elip Cnctr, and Mod Arthro NL 5 lock Collar. Urgent Requirement: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or service providers will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP. THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT FOR OPEN BIDS. Consolidated Appropriations prohibited from contracting with a corporation that has been convicted of a felony in the last 24 months 252.209-7998. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation/notice of award for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the notice of award and written notice of intent WILL NOT be issued.
