Solicitation Number: N6328513SU00430 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: Added: 28 January 2013 Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a sole source award to AVID TECHNOLOGY INC located at 1101 PENNSLYVANIA AVENUE, NW SUITE WASHINGTON, DC 20004 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one source and FAR 52.211-6 Brand name or equal. The agencies requirement is for the AVID Standalone Hardware including one year coverage of Avid software and media storage which currently supports system, AVID sell directly from the manufacturer to the U.S. Federal Government. This requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed price contract to AVID TECHNOLOGY INC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541512. The determination not to compete the requirement will be at the sole discretion of the Government.
