Description

Justification & Approval documentation for sole source contract award for brand name specifications. USACE, Charleston District (SAC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Hypack, Inc., 56 Bradley St., Middletown, CT 06457 for delivery of for 1 each Hypack Max/Hysweep version 2012 Hard lock Key and Hypack Office/Hysweep Office version 2012 Hard lock Key. The purchase is needed to allow use with multibeam and sidescan sonar equipment currently owned and operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106(b). The anticipated award date is on or about 08 February 2013. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers. All interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation, or other information for consideration to the Contract Specialist by 12:00 PM EST, 07 February 2013.
