Description

Single Source Justification Western Area Power Administration intends to award a sole source contract to PowerLine Systems, 610 N. Whitney Way, Suite 160, Madison, WI 53705. The performance period is from date of award until 12/31/2013. Authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for furnishing PLS-CADD software keys and for use by civil engineering department for the design of transmission line and structural design. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all interest and capability statements, including prices, received by February 4, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. (MST) after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210; size standard is $25 million.
