- Please note the response date listed with this pre-solicitation notice is not the actual due date. The actual due date will be stated in the solicitation. This pre-solicitation notice is for a front lobby renovation of a Security Forces building. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing acoustical ceiling where needed and reinstall at finish; build and install new 2x4 L shaped walls inside main entrance door; patch and paint all walls and ceiling; install baseboard; build and install laminated countertop; varied electrical work as denoted in specifications at Ft Devens, MA 01434. This solicitation is a request for quote and is set aside 100% for small businesses with a primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 238990 and a size standard of $14.0 Million. The entire solicitation will be posted on or about 12 Feb 13 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will include Federal Acquisition Regulation contract provisions and clauses, scope of work, and applicable Davis Bacon wage rates. The scope of work and drawings, if applicable, will include details of required work elements. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the System for Award Maintenance (SAM) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the SAM may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the SAM at time of award.
