- Description
- FBF VEG REDUCT DTD 29JAN13 The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following questions, to revise the Scope of Work, and extend the closing date to 10:00am Thursday January 31, 2013. Email your proposals to christina.sale@usace.army.mil QUESTION 21: Is this contract in fact now a one line item Contract that only deals with the trucking of the chips? ANSWER 21: SEE REVISED SCOPE OF WORK DATED JANUARY 29, 2013 QUESTION 22: If so, how is the vegetative debris being reduced to chips? Is this a separate contract? Who is doing this chipping? ANSWER 22: SEE ANSWER 21 ABOVE QUESTION 23: The line item in the scope discusses payment being based on a survey quantity reduced 15%. If we are no longer doing the chipping work doesn't that mean we are not doing the original survey. Are we being asked to live with somebody else's survey quantity or will this be changed to make payment based on truck counts. ANSWER 23: SEE ANSWER 21 ABOVE QUESTION 24: Is attachment 1 "Price schedule" the only place in the new proposal to put forward pricing? And is the price put in this schedule for grinding, managing the site, and the transportation to remove the chips or mulch? ANSWER 24: SEE ANSWER 21 ABOVE QUESTION 25: In reference to Solicitation #W912DS-13-R-0007, I would like to confirm that after the last addendum(s) the only item in this solicitation is the "Mulch/Chip Transportation for Beneficial reuse" item. If so, is this item simply transporting mulch/chips or will the contractor also be grinding stumps and creating the chips/mulch to be transported? ANSWER 25: SEE ANSWER 21 ABOVE QUESTION 26: Could you please let us know if we need to acknowledge every new posting as an amendment on the FBO for the above referenced solicitation, or just the postings labeled as amendments? ANSWER 26: All postings are amendments.
