Description

Building and Grounds Maintenance Service, Youghiogheny Lake, Confluence, Pennsylvania The Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a need for a Requirements Contract for Building and Grounds Maintenance Services at their Youghiogheny Lake Project in Confluence, Pennsylvania. Some of the services include, but are not limited to, grass mowing, trimming, maintenance of landscaped areas, tree removal, debris removal, pesticide application, cleaning of offices and restrooms, shampooing and steam cleaning carpets, and solid waste and raw sewage removal. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business (NAICS 561210; size standard $35.5 Million). The period of performance will be from 1 April 2013 (or date of award, whichever is later) through 31 December 2013, with four one-year option periods. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) before receiving a contract award (go to https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ to register). The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued approximately 13 February 2013 on-line only thru Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps); therefore requests for hardcopies of the specifications will not be honored. Request for this solicitation must be made thru FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov. Vendors, Plan Rooms and Printing Companies will be able to download this solicitation on or after the above issuance date.
