THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) SUBPART 12.6 'SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS', AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation number is RFQ-RT-13-00037 and the solicitation is being issued as a 100% small business set aside Request for Quotation (RFQ) using FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-64. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561710 ? Extermination and Pest Control Servi ces, which has a size standard of $7.0 million, is applicable. A firm fixed-price contract is anticipated to result from award of this solicitation. The procurement is to provide termite treatment, insect and rodent control at the US EPA located at 1 Sabine Island Drive, Gulf Breeze, Florida (as described in the Statement of Work). The period of performance of this contract shall be 12 months, plus four (4) additional 12 month option periods. The Statement of Work, Evaluation Criteria, Pricing Sheet, information about technical questions, site visit information and any other information pertaining to this requirement can ONLY be found at the EPA website listed below. While a site visit is not required to receive an award, offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit prior to submission of a quote. All offerors are to include with their offers a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?Commercial Items.
