Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. NUWCDIVNPT is responsible for technical training systems support to various Navy activities. Code 2515 NUWCDIVNPT provides in-house laboring support of SEA 07TR efforts; including the monitoring and control of SEA 07TR initiated Submarine On-Board Training (SOBT) material production for the Submarine Learning Center (SLC), Groton CT. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for the production of training media for the Submarine On Board Training (SOBT) office under the cognizance of SEA 07TR Training Acquisition Branch. The contractor shall produce Interactive Multimedia Instruction/Courseware (IMI) training modules for the Naval Sea Systems Command ™s on-board and schoolhouse training programs for all subject matter areas of submarine operations and procedures, including Strategic Weapon Systems and Naval Nuclear Propulsion. The Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure is as follows: CLIN 0001: IMI training modules in accordance with the Statement of Work CLIN 0002: Data in accordance with the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), DD Form 1423 (Not Separately Priced) Award will be made on the basis of Best Value. Acquisition is unrestricted. NAICS code is 541519; size standard is $25.5M. The anticipated solicitation release date is 14 February 2013. The result contract will be a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions. The period of performance is date of award through 60 months thereafter. All timely offers will be considered.
