- This solicitation number for this project is being changed to AG-03R6-S-13-0018. Please refer to the changed solicitation number for any future solcitiations. The Western Montana Acquisition Zone anticipates awarding a contract for removal of two existing arch culverts and replacing them with a new concrete structure. Road BMP's are to be implemented on NFS Road 903, with in the close proximity of the road crosssing. The BMP work includes blading and shaping the roadway, constrcuting drain dips, and replacing and or installing new culverts. There is one 48" culvert to be installed. The two old culverts are to be removed NF lands. Anticipate start date is July 15, 2013. Because of inclement weather imminent, the Forest Service would like all interested contractors the opportunity to look at the site now, since the work will probably not be accesible whent he solcitation is let in the future. All interested contractors may come to a site visit by meeting at the Swan Lake Ranger District at 11:00am, November 16, 2012. Shortly, thereafter, we will drive out to the site. Interested contractors may contact the COR, Patrick Siers, 406-758-5347. to inform him that you plan to attend. The Government estimates the value of the work to be between $150,000 and $250,000.
