- FLC control No. 2013-0607. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia site, intends to acquire contractor support services to perform all conservation and preservation of records and artifacts for the Naval Chaplaincy School Center in accordance with NARA 1571 standards. FAR 52.204-9 applies. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Cash, Tierian, of Longs, SC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Cash, Tierian is the only known provider of these services. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals received within six days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm fixed price contact will be awarded as a result of this quotation. This requirement is in support of the US Chaplains Naval Personnel Office, Washington, DC.
