- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil). The RFQ number is N00189-13-Q-0628. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC2005-61 and DFARS Change Notice 2012-0906. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and https://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The Offeror must quote on an all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. The government will award a purchase order on the basis of the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Since an award will be based on initial responses, offerors are highly encouraged to quote their most competitive pricing in their initial response. An award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. This announcement will close at 10:00pm on 04 February 2013.
