- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a modification to the Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Delivery Order 4161 under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-09-G-0005 on a sole source basis with Lockeed Martin Mission Systems and Training (LM MST). This effort will include the non-recurring tasks for engineering and software development, laboratory testing, ground testing and flight testing of Digital Rocket Launcher (DRL) capabilities integrated into MH-60 Sierra and MH-60 Romeo. This system software is required for the integration and flight testing of both Unguided and Guided (Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) Rockets capability on MH-60 Sierra and Romeo aircrafts. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Lockeed Martin Mission Systems and Training (LM MST), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". LM MST is the only contractor with the necessary knowledge, data, and technical capability to perform this effort for the MH-60R/S aircraft.
