- PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 0736133310. ***Brand name or Equal products are acceptable for this procurement. If an alternative brand is proposed; vendors must include with a quote a point by point comparison of their proposed item and below mandatory specifications In order to be considered for award the offeror must provide all required supplies to the exact specification listed below. 1.MultiRae PRO Monitor QTY (50) 1.Must Detect the presence of four specific gases simultaneously 2.Ability to be worn/used covertly 3.Ability to be deployed remotely and synchronize with others like units to form modeling 4.Price quote must include price for Shipment Submission of Quotes: All quotes must be submitted via e-mail to at Montarious.Usher@ic.fbi.gov no later than Tuesday, February 5 2013 at 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time. All questions must be submitted via email to Montarious.usher@ic.fbi.gov Quotes shall not expire before 90 days. No telephone call will be accepted. Please Note: The Government is currently operating under a Continuing Resolution. Award of this contract is subject to the availability of funds. Contractors may bid on this requirement at their own discretion. No proposal costs will be reimbursed for this requirement, this includes cancellation due to lack of funding. Ensure your firm is registered in System for Award Management (SAM) - All vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012 to receive government contracts. In addition, the FBI will be using a new financial system on 10/01/2013 that has a direct interface with the SAM. If any current FBI vendor data conflicts with SAM Data, the information contained in SAM may override our current information on 10/01/2013. Please ensure that your company's SAM information updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, DUNs, addresses and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization This solicitation incorporates several clauses by reference. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the FAR provisions at 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors-Commercial Items (Feb 2012), 52.212.3 Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items (Dec 2012), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (Feb 2012) and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Item s (Nov 2012) as well as 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999) are incorporated by reference.Contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13.
