- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source and is not a request for competitive quotes. Tricare Management Activity (TMA)/Vision Center of Excellence (VCE), Arlington, VA intends to solicit a quote and enter in to a contract with Comcast for cable service and internet services. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c)(1) per FAR 13.106-1(b). The NAICS code for this action is 517110. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. TMA requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM, please access the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to register with the SAM This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, however, the government shall consider all responses received within three days of this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement.
