- The USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest, located in Duluth Minnesota anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. This Contract will consist of grading approximately 38 miles of Single lane 2 passes, 270 miles of Single lane, and 330 miles of Double lane Forest roads annually. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, transportation, supervision and incidentals necessary to perform road grading (blading) on the Superior National Forest. The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about Feb 14, 2013. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The Government may award one or more contracts as a result of the Request for Proposal. The resulting contract(s) will be awarded for a base year and four optional years. The not-to-exceed total contract value is $1,000,000. The guaranteed minimum amount for the program is $2,500. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), and have completed the online representations and certifications (www.orca.gov) data base. NAICS: 238910, the size standard is $14 Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Department of Labor wage rates. Solicitation Number AG-63A9-S-13-0008 All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Forest Service. This is a synopsis, the full solicitation documents including specifications will be issued on or about February 14, 2013. Deadline for proposals will be March 15, 2013.
