- TYPE OF POSTING: Special SOLICITATION NUMBER: W91ZLK-13-T-0061 SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO LUMINYS SYSTEMS CORP. FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF TWO TYPES OF LIGHTING SYSTEMS. The U. S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Tenant Division located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.501(a)(1)(i)) with Luminy's System Corporation. Luminy's System Corp. (Cage Code: 4ZKJ4) is located at 11961 Sherman Road, North Hollywood, CA 91605-3717. The contractor shall provide two (2) different required items. The items consist of five (5) Lighting Systems, 1.1K LED HiG to include a High Intensity Single Light Head Source Unit and five (5) Lighting Systems, 1.1K LED HiG 2X to include a High Intensity Dual Light Head Source Unit.. Luminy's System Corp. owns the proprietary data rights to the requested items. They are the sole manufacturer and the sole provider. There are no authorized distributors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 335122 and the size standard is 500 Employees. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact Samantha L. Shultz; Contracting Officer via e-mail at samantha.l.shultz2.civ@mail.mil. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 10:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time (EST), 11 February, 2013. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. This Notice was posted on 31 January 2013. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions; FAR 15.209(a). No telephone requests shall be honored.
