Description

Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport intends to issue a solicitation for the following non-commercial supply: Test Set Panels for Digital Vand System (DVAND II) in support of test set modernization. The required items shall be manufactured in accordance with NAVSEA Drawings 7609827, 7609829, 7609830, 8289971, 8289972, 8290302, 8290304, 8290305, 8290306, 829383, 8290384, 8290385, 8290386, 8290388, 8290389, 8290390, 8290393, 8290398; and all associated drawings, changes and specifications. This requirement is for a quantity of 20 of each of the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs), in accordance with the drawings referenced above: CLIN 0001: Support, Power Strip; CLIN 0002 – Inlet Support; CLIN 0003 – Housing Case; CLIN 0004 – Gauge Face Plate; CLIN 0005 – Front Panel; CLIN 0006 – Digital Gauge Support; CLIN 0007 – Brace, Right; CLIN 0008 – Brace, Left; CLIN 0009 – Back Panel; CLIN 0010 – Backfill Adapter Box; CLIN 0011 – DVAND Label; CLIN 0012 – Tube, HP Inlet; CLIN 0013 – Tube, LP Inlet; CLIN 0014 – Tube, HP Gauge; CLIN 0015 – HP Outlet; CLIN 0016 – LP Cross; CLIN 0017 – LP Gauge; and CLIN 0018 – LP Outlet. The solicitation number for this requirement when issued will be N00253-13-T-0086. It is anticipated that the award resulting from this solicitation will be a firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332999, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The government prefers FOB Destination pricing for delivery to NUWC, Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Drawings referenced in this synopsis and the forthcoming solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and are ONLY available to vendor’s/contractor’s appointed data custodians that are registered with the Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendors/ Contractors that are not registered with DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Restricted drawings and technical information will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities Website at http://www.fbo.gov, as an attachment to the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 30 January 2013. The closing date of the solicitation will be 14 February 2013, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://www.neco.navy.mil and will also be available for download at http://www.fbo.gov. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from these websites and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFP. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and any associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals, may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
