- Description
- The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Direct Attack Division, Fuze Branch (AFLCMC/EBDZ), Eglin AFB has reviewed the submitted industry responses to the Modernized Commodity Fuze (MCF) Request for Information (RFI), as well as the inputs provided during the 14-15 November 2012 MCF Industry Day at Eglin AFB. Industry inputs were appreciated and provided the Government with useful information in developing an acquisition strategy for a modernized fuze. The USAF and the USN have been in discussion and determined that synergies can be obtained between the Service's fuze modernization efforts. Effective immediately, requests for information regarding fuze modernization efforts will be provided under the title of FMU-139D/B. Please continue to monitor FEDBIZOPS for additional information. All inquiries from Industry related to the FMU-139D/B solicitation should be directed to Jamie Billig, (301) 342-1114, the USN PCO.
