- The Clinical Center Office of Space and Facility Management (OSFM) National Institutes of Health (NIH) has a requirement to perform air quantity/quality surveys of specified critical rooms/areas of the critical operations to ensure that the air flow quality/quantity meets established standards. The Clinical Center Office of Space and Facility Management are responsible for the maintenance and oversight of the Clinical Center Complex (CCC) Air Balance. Air quantity and quality must be maintained to ensure the safety of Clinical Center patients, staff and visitors. Due to the critical operations of the isolation HVAC systems, every detail of the complicated computerized systems must operate at design specifications to protect both patients and staff from exposure to contagious diseases, but also to prevent contamination of essential treatment products and agents that support critical organizational research goals and objectives. It is anticipated that an award will be made for a basic twelve month period, with options to renew for four successive twelve months periods. Synopsis REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall perform air quality/quantity surveys for approximately 141 rooms (see Attachment 1). Approximately fifty-three (53) of the rooms shall be surveyed monthly (twelve (12) surveys each room per year). Monthly surveys must be completed within the same week each month as the previous survey (for example, if the survey of that room was the first week of the month, that room should be surveyed the first week of the month throughout the year. Approximately eighty (80) of the isolation rooms shall be surveyed semi-annually (two (2) surveys each room per year). Routine on-site service will be provided within one (1) hour, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, excluding weekends and holidays. Emergency service calls are included under this agreement. The Contractor will provide centralized emergency call support services via phone 24 x 7 x 365 This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award a contract. The RFP will be available on the FedBizOpps Web page at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the RFP and all attachments. The offeror is responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps Web page for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. The RFP will be available from the FedBizOpps on or about February 12, 2013.
