- W911XK-13-T-0029 FY13 Shaft Refurbishment Shaft Conditioning Drawing #1 W911XK-13-T-0029 FY13 Shaft Refurbishment This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested. Solicitation W911XK-13-T-0029 is issued as a Request for Quote. The NAICS for this project is 336611 with a Small Business Size of 1,000 employees. This acquisition is being solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. Line items and Specifications as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) are included in the attached solicitation. The Government requires the reconditioning of a Shaft to new condition and specification in accordance with the ships drawing. The shaft was in Full duty service on USACE Tug DL Billmaier until November 2011; when it was replaced with a reconditioned shaft at a scheduled dry-dock. The shaft is available for inspection at the USACE Vessel Yard in Duluth, MN. The successful offeror MUST be registered in the System for Award Management at http://www.sam.gov. Offers are due no later than 12 February 2013 at 02:00 pm, Eastern/local time. The point of contact for this acquisition is Carlette Williams at 313.226.2683.
