- Justification and Approval for 6 month extension This J&A authorizes the use of other than full and open competition procedures to extend the period of performance IAW FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. This requirement is for non-personal services to provide essential expertise and capabilities to plan, implement, and execute Air Force Information Assurance (IA) including support to the development and implementation of tools and procedures for IA operations at 33 NWS Air Force Computer Emergency Response Team. The 33NWS mission is to provide Network Defense for the AF enterprise and cyberspace network.
