Description
DD254 CD Labels Classified Cover Letter Unclassified Cover Letter Detailed Technical RFI Information Full RFI document The Program Executive Office for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons, (Multi-Mission Tactical Unmanned Air Systems Program (PMA-266)) is seeking information from the vendor community on enhanced precision navigation systems, communications systems, weapon systems, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) systems, and information handling systems for current and future Vertical Takeoff Unmanned Air Vehicle (VTUAV) applications in the MQ-8 series and future systems. Solutions that can satisfy the specific technology areas of interest (listed later in document) are areas that are being considered for future VTUAV configurations and are of particular interest. The purpose of this RFI is for the government to gain insight into existing products within industry and the ability of industry to modify existing products or to develop new items providing the capabilities of interest discussed below. This RFI also provides industry with a better understanding of the capabilities that PMA-266 is considering for the Navy and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) as it establishes its future technologies roadmap. The technical details of the RFI are contained in a separate document which is controlled as Distribution D type of information and is available to DOD vendors upon request and verification of their cage codes. Please see the full RFI package attached for further details.
