Description

Project 636-13-134, Healing Garden Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, demolition and transportation necessary to install Healing Garden located at the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) Grand Island VA Medical Center, 2201 N. Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, NE 68803-2196. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical, necessary demolition and certain other items necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-13-B-0597 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about February 25, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held sometime during the week of March 11-15, 2013. (See solicitation when available for specific date/time/location of site visit). Bids are tentatively scheduled to be due on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be 45 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
