- Sole Source contract for Aerial Herbicide Spraying for Mesquite at O.C. Fisher Lake basin on the North Concho River located adjacent to the city limits of the City of San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas approximately 60 miles above the Concho River's confluence with the Colorado River. Furnish all tools, labor, equipment, and materials to perform aerial application, by helicopter, of the herbicides Mat 28, Escort, Clopyralid, and Triclopyr (including any recommended adjuvants, surfactants or other additives) for the control of mesquite in the designated areas of the United States Army Corp of Engineers' owned lands at O.C. Fisher Lake. Equipment to be furnished by Contractor are as follows: Helicopter, Batch Truck, Herbicide, Global Positioning System (GPS) units onboard helicopter and GIS personnel capable of providing maps in SHP format and uploading avoidance zones SHP files such as Trimble GPs (TrimFlight 3 System), sectional spray boom, hydrostatic nozzles, Accuflow nozzles, and variable speed flow control. In accordance with the specifications described below. The UCRA shall provide spray boundary SHP files in ESRI format. Estimated surface area to potentially be sprayed is approximately 8,500 acres. Interested companies shall respond to this notice by providing the following information: 1) Company Name, 2) Address, 3) Point of Contact information with telephone number and email address, 4) Cage Code, 5) Capabilities information/statement showing that the company has the ability to fulfill the Government requirement as described herein. The contractor shall be able to comply with all requirements described herein to be considered capable. This is not a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Firms intending to provide submittals must submit detailed information indicating their ability to meet the Government's requirements. All inquiries must be received by 1 PM CST on March 6, 2013. Opening and Closing Response Date: Opens February 5, 2013 and Closes March 6, 2013 Period of Performance: Period of Performance shall be 200 days from Notice to Proceed.
