Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Service Area-Atlanta, AAQ -510, has a requirement to provide Janitorial Service at the Daytona Beach (DAB) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building; the National Weather Service Office and the Daytona Beach International Airport, Daytona Beach, Florida. The FAA contemplates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for an initial base period of 1 (one) year with 4 one-year options. This Requirement is offered to all qualified responsive concerns and offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. A tiered evaluation will be utilized, see section �M � of the solicitation package. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561720 � Janitorial Services. The small business size standard is $16.5 million, average annual receipts over the past 3 fiscal years. Note: A site visit has been scheduled for February 13, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the FAA Daytona Beach SSC 1580 Aviation Center Parkway, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. When responding to this Screening Information Request/Request for Offer (SIR/RFO), each offeror is required to submit a technical proposal and a cost proposal in accordance with the Screening Information Request (SIR) provision in Section L entitled, "Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors." Technical and cost proposals are due no later than 3:00 p.m. local time (Eastern Time Zone), February 26, 2013 and must be submitted to FAA, 1701 Columbia Avenue, College Park, Georgia 30337. The proposal must be sealed and labeled as follows: ATTN: Maxine Cross, SIR/RFO DTFAEN-13-R-00028. Proposals may be submitted electronically to Maxine.cross@faa.gov. If you chose to send your offer electronically, we will not be responsible for a failure attributable to transmitting or receiving the offer. Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at delivery at the Eastern Service Center-Atlanta. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR/RFO may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at Eastern Service Center-Atlanta. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov) This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation.
