- The Space and Naval Warfare Center Atlantic (SPAWAR Atlantic) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the following items: (1) Manufacturer-Nova Power Solutions, P/N: UPS1-2.4K-1G-SRNDTI-L3E, Description: 2400VA/1680W RUGGEDIZED UPS FOR SHIPBOARD APPLICATIONS, Quantity: 5 each and (2) Manufacturer- Nova Power Solutions, P/N: 223-15176- 2, Description: REPLACEMENT 120VDC BATTERY ASSEMBLY FOR THE NPS SERIES UPS, Quantity: 1 each. No other product will be accepted. Brand name only - An equal product will not be accepted. This is a 'Small Business Set-Aside only. No electronic or hard copy Request For Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. This action will be conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. NAICS is 335999. Award will be made on an all or nothing basis. The Government will accept quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the BRAND NAME product cited and will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. The part numbers must be the manufacturer's part number. Nova Power Solutions is the original equipment manufacturer and has proprietary schematics, drawings and specifications required to manufacture the required equipment. The items being purchased must be compatible and interchangeable with existing equipment and these features can only be obtained by using the sole source company equipment. Lastly the items must be a SPAWAR PPIL/SSIL approved item for use on Shipboard Tactical/Weapons and IT Networks, which this product is. All responding vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting invoices for payment. Information to register can be found at www.sam.gov. Invoices must be submitted electronically via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Information can be found at https://wawf.eb.mil. Vendor training is available on the internet at https://wawftraining.eb.mil. Award is anticipated by COB February 11, 2013. No electronic or hard copy Request For Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. Quotes are due to the Contract Specialist, Victoria Franklin at victoria.franklin@navy.mil by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, February 7, 2013. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
